Construction in Cape Town & the Western Cape

Much of our Cape work sits in the estate and coastal towns around the region — the kind of homes where the setting is half the brief, and where estate design rules and exposed sites both raise the bar on how carefully a build has to be run.

What we've built in the Western Cape

• Pearl Valley Golf Estate, Paarl — a double-storey family home (four bedrooms, three bathrooms) built inside one of the Cape Winelands' best-known golf estates, where finish standards are non-negotiable.
• Gansbaai — a four-bedroom, three-bathroom double-storey built from the ground up on the coast, standing up to the weather a sea-facing site brings.
• En Suite, Paarl — a full en suite renovation: the old bathroom stripped back and rebuilt with full-height tiling, a frameless walk-in shower and modern black fixtures.

Between them, those projects cover the spread of what we do in the Cape: ground-up new construction and renovation work that reworks an existing home to a high finish.

Building well in the Cape

Building well in the Western Cape has its own demands. Coastal sites like Gansbaai take weather and salt air that inland builds never see, so material choices and detailing have to account for it from the foundation up. Estate builds such as Pearl Valley come with their own design guidelines, approval steps and finish expectations set by the estate itself — get any of that wrong and the build stalls before it starts. Running either well is less about doing something exotic and more about experience: knowing what a site and its rules will throw at you, and planning the whole build around it before you break ground.
